Supervision

The word “supervision” means “overview”, “view from above”, or “observe from a distance”. The aim of supervision is to take a view from a distance and look, with the supervisee, at what moves or worries him or her about their work.

The supervisor facilitates the process by offering a supportive environment where the supervisee can share their experience. Connections are made and understood, actions reflected upon, and with the neutral stance of the supervisor new strategies developed and tested.

Supervision maintains work standards, strengthens motivation and prevents burnout.

Supervision is suitable for all those who work professionally or voluntarily with people be they colleagues, clients, patients or children.
